AdaptBB is the second premium (paid) script by Insane Visions. AdaptBB is a continuation of the forum extension of OneCMS, which started as small but ended up being heavily upgraded on Dynasty Wizard and ended up here as upcoming forum software. As every major decision I thought about it even when I had the domain and decided to have it as a premium script (non open source, paid).

I have made two prior free scripts and with experience built up I have to make some sort of gain however at the same time am not bloating the prices like AdaptBB's competitors. When I first researched the prices I was absolutely stunned with how much they were charging, from $235 to remove the copyright at the bottom of your page (at the moment, it is not required for AdaptBB) to costing $60 for a month of toll free phone support. Even the cost of the software itself at nearly $80/year or $165 for a lifetime license just seems crazy and I realized the market for an inexpensive piece of forum software was wide open.

It is not intended, but can be used for, very lage forums. It does not have as many features, mostly because a lot are not useful but still is feature packed for just $50*, no paying for support after a year or even paying for copyright removal. Unlike others this is not an investment, sure you want to make sure you want it and like it before buying but if you end up not needing it - you only spent $50* and for a small fee** can switch it to a new domain if you are starting a new site.
